Mobile Deposit


Got a check to deposit? Save your trip to a branch and use the Metro Medical Credit Union Mobile App to deposit a check into your Checking Account. Make mobile deposits at your own time and where ever you want at no additional fee!

PREPARATION

Maximum mobile deposit is $2,500.

Use our Mobile App to make Mobile Deposits. If you do not have it installed on your mobile device yet, visit device App store to download the Metro Medical Credit Union app.

Members must also have a Checking Account with MMCU. All deposits are made to Checking Accounts only.

Mobile Deposit funds are normally received within two business days.

GETTING STARTED

Access Deposit, then select Deposit a Check.

Enter the check amount.

Sign the back of the check and take a photo of the front and back following the guidelines on the screen, then submit.

Write “Mobile Deposit” on the back of the check once it is scanned. And that's it!

Please retain the check until the deposit clears into your Checking Account.

  • EDUCATIONAL TIPS

    • Before logging into the Mobile Deposit app, close all other apps running in the background on your mobile phone.
    • Sign/Endorse the back of your check, and label it “For Deposit Only.”
    • When prompted for the amount, carefully enter the check amount to ensure it matches the amount written on your check.
    • Flatten folded or crumpled checks before taking your photos.
    • Keep the check within the view finder on the camera screen when capturing your photos. Try not to get too much of the areas surrounding the check.
    • Take the photos of your check in a well-lit area.
    • Place the check on solid dark background before taking the photo of it.
    • Keep your phone flat and steady above the check when taking your photos.
    • Hold the camera as square to the check as possible to reduce corner to corner skew.
    • Make sure that the entire check image is visible and in focus before submitting your deposit.
    • No shadows across the check
    • All four corners are visible
    • Check is not blurry
    • The MICR line (numbers on the bottom of your check) is readable.

How to set up our Mobile App

All you need to get started is a Virtual Branch Login ID and these 5 easy steps to set up our App on your iPhone® or Android® device:

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android® Phone or the App Store on your iPhone®

  2. Search for "Metro Medical Credit Union" then click on the download button and proceed to download the app

  3. Once the app has completed downloading, enter your Virtual Branch Logon ID and password

  4. Read and accept the Terms & Conditions to complete the enrollment process

*There is currently no charge associated with Metro Medical Credit Union’s Mobile Banking products. Bill Pay is free when you pay three (3) or more bills each month; otherwise a monthly fee applies.
